Privacy Policy

OCIUS is built to personalize live football intelligence without turning your account into an advertising profile. This policy explains what data we process and why.

Last updated: 28 August 2026ociuslive.com

1. Who controls your data

OCIUS is currently operated as a pre-launch sports intelligence product. For privacy requests, contact support@ociuslive.com. Legal entity details will be updated before commercial public launch.

2. Data we process

  • Account data: email address and, when you use Google sign-in, basic identity information provided by Google such as name and profile image.
  • Personalization data: followed teams, players and competitions; Smart Alert choices; Spoiler Sync preferences; language and data-saver preferences.
  • Match continuity: limited match-visit snapshots used to power features such as “What Changed?” and “While You Were Away”.
  • Technical and security data: request logs, timestamps, IP/network information and diagnostic information needed to operate and protect the service.
Guest mode does not sync personal follows, alerts or match history to the OCIUS cloud.

3. Why we use it

We process this data to authenticate you, synchronize OCIUS across devices, deliver personalized sports information and alerts, protect the service against abuse, diagnose failures and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal data to advertisers.

4. Service providers

OCIUS currently relies on specialist infrastructure providers, including Supabase for authentication/database services, Netlify for web delivery, Oracle Cloud for the OCIUS API infrastructure, and sports-data providers for match information. These providers process data only as needed to provide their services and under their own contractual/security obligations.

5. Retention and deletion

We keep account information while your account is active and retain only what is reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance and service operation. You can export your personal OCIUS state or permanently delete your account from the OCIUS Control Center. Account deletion removes the authenticated account and synchronized personal data linked through database cascade rules.

6. Your rights

Depending on your location, including under the GDPR/EEA framework, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, obtain a portable copy of your data, and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Contact us to exercise these rights.

7. International transfers

Infrastructure providers may process information in countries outside your own. Where required, transfers are protected using appropriate contractual or legal safeguards.

8. Children

OCIUS is not directed to children under 13. Where local law requires a higher age for independent consent to online services, that higher age applies.

9. Changes

We may update this policy as OCIUS evolves, including when native iOS/Android notifications and additional sports are introduced. Material changes will be reflected by an updated date and, where appropriate, an in-app notice.
